A typical day at Chec Mates

A daily routine gives children a sense of security. This is why we ensure each day is properly structured while leaving enough time for spontaneous activities.

The Daily Routine

All ages in the nursery have a structured timetable to suit age.

Meals and snacks are served at the same time each day.

Children are encouraged to have free play outside during their time at nursery.

08:00 a.m - 09:40 a.m	Arrival and breakfast time
09:40 a.m - 10.40a.m	Register, focus time and free play
10.40 a.m - 11.00 a.m	Healthy snack
11.00 a.m - 12.00 noon	Planning to play and group time
12.00 - 12.50 p.m	Lunch time/free play
12.50 p.m - 2.40 p.m	Register, focus time, planning to play/free time
2.40 p.m - 2.55 p.m	Healthy snack
2.55 p.m - 4.05 p.m	Large group, free play
4.05 p.m - 4.30 p.m	Tea Time
4.30 p.m - 6.00 p.m	Physical play, story time, table top activities
6.00 p.m	Nursery closes
